Camp Somerset Media Director and camp Photographer position

To Whom it make concern,

I am applying for your media director and camp photographer position that was posted to Handshake that was posted on January 15, 2021.

Summer is the best time of year for kids, and being able to spend that time at summer camp is even better. Kids are making friends and memories that will last a lifetime. Speaking from experience, I learned how to do things at summer camp that I would have never learned otherwise. Like how to sail, how to horseback ride, as well as arts and crafts.

When I was younger I attended a sleep away all girls camp for four years, and soon after that I became a summer camp counselor at a day camp in my hometown. In this job, I quickly became a leader for my position, and along with working closely with my group of kids, I also worked closely with the camp director and other counselors.

Along with my camp experiences, I have also been a photographer for around four years now. Starting in high school, just taking pictures of my brother playing lacrosse turned into being a school photographer for proms, senior photos, and even taking some pictures at my summer camp position.

For my social media knowledge, growing up in the era that I have I am very confident to say I know how to work all media platforms, as well as creating content that will catch the eye of a specific demographic group. Having my own freelance position has also given me practice for marketing myself on social media.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.
