JOURNAL 22

I think that this project is going really well. We have dedicated different pages to different people. I am incharge of the 5th and 6th panel, and we have strategized and planned what we each will be doing on the panels. We have also discussed the color scheme, and overall theme for what our product and service can offer. I think we have run into a hard spot where we will not be able to be in person with our group again before our presentation, so that will be a bit difficult.  But, we will prevail, connecting through zoom and email will have to do. I think we definitely could have gotten more done on Tuesday when we were in person in terms of creating the physical brochure but it really isn’t hard to independently work on this project. We have divided the work so it is relatively easy to do what you need to do by yourself on your specific panel. I feel like we will be able to get everything we planned to do in person, remotely. I am looking forward to seeing what our final product is, and presenting it to the class.

JOURNAL 23

I think the brochure project was really fun. I had never had to make one before and really didn’t know how complicated it could get. I had a great time working with my partners to create something fun and eye-catching for a fun made-up company we created. There were obvious problems that we all ran into with the lockdown and having to be fully virtual, but we were able to work around them fairly easily. We had a long email thread going along with a shared document with all the details and wording we wanted. We also were able to meet over zoom a couple of times to discuss things “in person” so we could understand some things better. The process was fairly easy to keep up with and easy to work with the requirements. Again, this is another professional writing tool or skill that I have gained in this class.
