The job that I will describe is my dream job. It would be a Social Media Marketing position for an athletics team, (ex. The Bruins). I would be in charge of the social media presence, interacting with the athletes to gain content, along with marketing the games, or other activities that people could attend. The purpose of this job would be to allow at home fans to see the personalities of the athletes while off the ice, along with upping the ticket sales. My supervisors would most likely be the head of PR and the head of Marketing, allowing me to work with them getting the correct information out, and coming up with new ideas. This job would require knowledge of social media platforms, Instagram, TikTok, twitter, facebook would be the most popular ones. Along with some marketing training, in understanding that specific target audience. I don’t think this job would come with any special, out of the box benefits. Some specific responsibilities could include weekly scheduling of posts, interviewing athletes, creating events for the public that these athletes will attend, things of that sort.
