Is protecting our environment a moral duty?

Protecting our environment moral duty because this is the only earth we have. We don’t have any second chances, so if we don’t do anything to help it now we won’t ever be able to help it. Responsibility is a real source of strength. But there are so man people that are out there that don’t want to take responsibility for their actions. But why? Why does no one want to stand up take some responsibility and make some change? People are too scared. Why do we keep allowing ourselves to ruin our own planet we live on? As a society, we all see to stand up and make a change together. No one will be too scared to stand up to say something or to make a change if everyone else around them is too. We need to make it easier for people to help. We need to get rid of the plastics, the nonrecyclables the chemicals and gases that are hurting our planet. We need to make solar panels more affordable, electric cars less of a “rich person purchase”. We need to help ourselves and each other. Protecting our environment is our moral duty weather people recognize it or not.
